Photos only attaching to the episode level

Have you guys noticed that currently if you add a photo to a television episode you now have to actively add the series to the info of each photo? That wasn't always the case was it? So now if you go to a television series and look at the gallery on the series level you might be missing photos because someone may have forgotten to add that info.
