"Not relevant" image reports not being approved
Two years ago I reported an irrelevant image spamming issue to dozens of titles to help desk with lots of submission numbers, examples and such to help them find the cause and perform a cleanup.
At first they kept dismissing it with completely irrelevant copy paste responses. After insisted to not get a copy paste and irrelevant response, someone said they filed a ticket and even gave a number: 0523592507
When I asked about the status of that ticket number some months later because no action was done, it sounded like they had no idea about such a ticket and no real info was given, they kept saying "use report button on images"
So I didn't push it anymore, when they don't care and not willing to do anything, what can I do.
So whenever I come across these spammed irrelevant images which I'm sure are spammed by the same bot account or something, I was doing what they say and using report button to remove them with an explanation like "random irrelevant google search spam" or similar and they were always getting approved instantly in 1 second. But in the last month or so, none of the "Not relevant" image reports are getting approved, they are always pending for some days and then declined.
Now this is what happens: They first get declined, then I contact help desk with submission numbers, then if I'm unlucky, the worst help desk agent who never helps "Luis I" responds and either replies with a completely irrelevant canned response or says there is no issue with image and it won't be removed.
If I'm lucky, one of the best and nice IMDb employees such as Sam, Carl or Sophie responds and says sorry and handles them without any hassle.
So my question: What changed? How it went from "approve in 1 second" to "always decline"? How and why?
Here are the latest declined submissions:
230329-182237-449302
230329-182231-223302
230329-182226-682002
230329-182220-580802

Hi @mbmb -
Thanks for reporting this ongoing issue. Concerning the inconsistent customer support you experienced, I have reached out to the appropriate team managers to highlight the issue and review support improvements.
In the meantime, I have now removed all the irrelevant headshot images you reported - likewise, concerning these declined submissions, I have also reached out to the applicable team to highlight the handling errors.
Thanks again for reporting - if you continue to experience declined image deletion requests, let us know and we can escalate further.

I've not used the help desk in two months, last time I did 'Luis I' told me they didn't have the staff to look into any rejected submissions. Most ridiculous response I've ever had.
One before that I asked for help with some vandalism that I'd corrected 4 times, and asked if steps could be made to protect the data, some lady who's name I forgot replied with 'It all looks fine to me' and that was it, it was revandalised days later.
Thanks for speaking up, hopefully the report from Michelle will buck some ideas up there.

Hi. Likewise having similar issue over outdated and even blatantly incorrect images. Outdated as in title of project changed since old images featuring title were added. Blatantly incorrect as in fake poster with my name spelled wrong (I am writer/producer/director). Please help me get all the images from this page with the wrong title removed. Have tried but my request was ignored. With regards to the fake poster with my name spelled wrong it was removed once after I flagged it but it re-appeared and I imagine whoever added it might try to add it again. Here is the photos page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10295762/mediaindex
Thanks for your time,
