Languages and Countries tags for Poster contributions
We are pleased to announce an update to the image contribution experience. As of today, contributors can tag languages and countries in Posters. You will see the new fields in the image contribution interface once 'Select A Type' is changed to'Poster'.
If an image is a poster you can tag it with the countries where the poster might be displayed. For example, many studios create a localized version of a movie poster to be shown in a specific country or region. This poster for Star Wars (1977)was created specifically for the release of the movie in Japan and could be tagged with Japan for the country
If an image is a poster you can tag it with the languages represented in the poster. For example, this image for A Prayer Before Dawn (2017) has both English and German text visible in the poster and both languages should be tagged.
You can add a new Poster with language and/or country tags or add them to existing Posters already on IMDb. Both fields are optional. IMDb is passionately committed to providing new ways for our users to engage with our content and we appreciate your continue support of IMDb.
Regards,
Trisha

Could someone please show here a real poster in Old (to 900) or Middle (900-1200) Irish Language?..
All of them and similar ones are in the list to tag posters. Good idea.

I found it most perplexing however, when trying to submit a tag addition for a previously uploaded VHS cover art that is for the Dutch market, that while Netherlands is in the list of countries, and 9th century Dutch is in the list of languages, just plain 'Dutch' is nowhere to be found:
I do hope that we aren't expected to 'know' to pick Flemish, (which is in the list) especially as they are not the same. (Flemish is spoken in Belgium and is a Dutch dialectic cluster, with their own variations of grammar, pronunciation and occasionally meaning within that single country.)
I can only assume its absence is temporary, as I found the following tag on another image, elsewhere:
Could anybody assist? (And add Elvish, also, it hasn't left the building!)

For some reason there is no explanation field when removing country or language tags. This would be helpful, surely.
