James Downey is not dead/case of mistaken identity on IMDb
Hello IMDb.
Recently, James Downey, who played Sam Phillips on Kate & Allie, died at the age of 73.
However, there's a problem. He doesn't have his own IMDb page. Rather, that credit is on an unrelated James Downey's profile (the one who wrote for Saturday Night Live and won four Emmys). As a result, someone updated that Downey's page to say he's dead, even though it's a different guy: SNL Downey was born James Woodward Downey and is a Joliet, Illinois native who went to Harvard. Kate & Allie Downey was born James Buchanan Downey and is a Brooklyn native who went to the High School of Music and Art in New York City.
Someone mind helping out here?

I have created a new name page for James Buchanan Downey, moved the death date and the credits, if there are any other things that have to be moved you can move them to that name page via our online form.

Can an admin please sort this mess out?
The James Downey who has died was the actor James B. Downey (1949–2022) who was the brother of Robert Downey Sr. and uncle to Robert Downey Jr. Here is his obit, which confirms all of these details: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/ctpost/name/james-downey-obituary?id=37532256
He is NOT the same person as the Saturday Night Live writer, who was born 1952/1953.
This IMDb page needs to be split accordingly by an admin: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0235999/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1 and the birth/death/personal details need to be corrected ASAP.
