How to add DVD premiere date for direct-to-video movie?

Hi, I am struggling with adding Canadian DVD premiere date for this movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3120408/releaseinfo It's direct-to-video movie and it has already theatrical date added for Canada. I tried to add DVD date as mentioned here: https://www.tribute.ca/movies/tinker-bell-and-the-legend-of-the-neverbeast/106901/ I should add it without any attributes as the date matches with movie type. I tried several things:

1) If I don't select any release type: warning "No release type selected"

2) If I select "Physical media" without Additional information: warning "No additional information for release type"

3) If I select "Physical media" with "DVD premiere": warning "The "(video premiere)" and "(DVD premiere)" attributes should not be used with this title."

4) If I select "Other" without Additional information: "No additional information for release type"

Please help - how should I add it without any attributes?

@Fran Ok so please let me know when the issue is fixed and how I should add such dates because I want to add video premiere date for several other countries, which I am unable to do now.

I am back @dopinginho! We confirmed with the appropriate team that the Contribution block you encountered is working as intended.  Since this title is a made-for-video release, video attributes such as (DVD premiere) or (video premiere) are no longer accepted due to redundancy (as a blank attribute already implies a video release for titles in this category).

These specific premiere attributes are reserved for titles that were not originally expected to have a video release but received one. Any existing titles they may have seen with these attributes applied incorrectly were added before this validation was in place and should be corrected/removed.

@dopinginho

You can just enter "DVD" under additional information, for example.

@Fran

It is not possible to add a "blank" attribute, as described in the first post.

@Fran I perfectly understand your explanation about attributes and why (DVD premiere) or (video premiere) is blocked in direct-to-video movie type. I totally agree with that and that's why in the next steps I wanted to remove them for Japan or Australia. Now I can see you have added also Canadian video premiere marked with (DVD premiere) which is NOT correct (but somehow you were able to do it, I was not).

So I am not surprised that 2nd method I have tried did not work as the explanation given by the system was exactly as the one you provided. But the question is - how to add such video premiere WITHOUT any (or with blank) attribute for direct-to-video movie??? This is the correct way to mark it but I struggled to achieve that. As I explained I tried several ways (see 1st, 3rd and 4th method) but none worked. So how to do that?

BTW. I can see that this particular movie type was changed from direct-to-video to theatrical. You did this on purpose? Because in such situation the rules are completely different, thus my question remains valid for any direct-to-video movie, but apparently not "Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast" anymore :)

@dopinginho

The relevant guidelines confirm you must enter the additional information for a physical release, so I don't think it's right to say that you should add it without an attribute.

Since the title type has been changed, I hope whoever made the change will also edit the release attributes.

@Peter_pbn But as Fran wrote "For made-for-video release, video attributes such as (DVD premiere) or (video premiere) are no longer accepted due to redundancy (as a blank attribute already implies a video release for titles in this category)." Video attributes would be redundant (same as general theatrical release dates are added without any attributes for theatrical movies) but I see no way to add such date without them. So I simply stuck :)

"DVD" is not really redundant since the video title type does not specify any format.

IMDb's explanations could probably be better, but here is a previous reply from fellow contributor gromit82, which was liked by IMDb staff:

@Peter_pbn Well it still smells like a workaround for me. I don't care in which channel (TV type) or medium (video type) the movie was released as first. Since it's a premiere, blank option seems most intuitive. But thanks for that tip, if I won't get anything better from staff, I will use that in future when facing such situation again.
