Duplicated writer credits

I see something odd-looking on tv series title pages and on some of the full cast & crew pages for series pages: duplicate credits for writers. For example Futurama https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0149460/   Surely there has to be a better display routine than showing the same top writer three times there.   I realize that this might be caused by different writing credits for the same person on different episodes, but it shouldn't display on the main series page like that, at least not without differentiation showing those different credits.   But perhaps that isn't the problem. Take a look at the full cast & crew page. Here is the full list of writers for the entire series:   While you see the different credits for the same persons, there are three duplicates of the same "written by" credit in this list, referring to the same episodes. David X. Cohen (who shows on the main page 3 times) has 2 identical "written by" lines for the same 124 episodes. Two other duplicates appear in the list, for Lewis Morton and Eric Rogers.   This is not the only tv series I've noticed this on. What's causing this, and how can it be corrected?
