Delete Images from image page

What steps do I have to take to go about deleting inappropriate/poor quality/images from the image page? As an Imdb pro member and As the creator of the film how do I get access to do this simple editing?

Under "Help," this comes up. The information is incorrect. After selecting image there is no delete.

To delete an image added with your IMDbPro membership from a desktop computer or the IMDbPro app:

  1. Select the image from your "Images" tab
  2. Select "Delete"
  3. Select "Delete" in the confirmation pop-up window

You can also request deletion of images which were uploaded by IMDb editorial by clicking "Report this", though these requests will be vetted by IMDb. Note that if there are other people tagged in the image with you, you cannot delete the image in its entirety. However, you can un-tag yourself so that the image no longer appear in your images though it will continue to appear in the other tagged people’s galleries.

Hello Gbudroe,

You can submit a request to IMDb to remove an image by using the  option listed at the bottom of the image viewer.

You can find help and instructions in our Images FAQ.

Thank you Fran (IMDB employee) for the response, however There is no Flag option nor is it clear where there is an image viewer. This is all confusing despite your answer. and also not clear in your images FAQ. I searched and found the incorrect information on deleting images. I then submitted corrections to IMDB for removal.

Were you able to submit the deletions?

I submitted the deletions to the IMDB editors. I'd like to know why as the administrator of the page content, I cannot work with the imagery to produce a good site page???? The information on the FAQ page is incorrect...there is no way for the contributor to delete an image. Adding an image..but not to delete. It disincentivizes a contributor in working to provide usable page information.

Submitting a report for the image is the way to submit the deletion, anyone is able to request the image to be deleted however we only remove images when breaching our Image guidelines.

Thank you Fran. I have submitted reports to remove the un-flattering and inaccurate imagery. If this cannot be completed then we may have no choice but to delete the film's submission and start over.

The first image was submitted fine, however when I try and submit a report for the second image, there is a bug or glitch in the site as the page spins around and will not load properly and thus it's not possible to

fill out this report. Please check on this. Thank you.

How do we go about deleting inaccurate title info and inappropriate imagery? The responses back from IMDB Pro are declining my requests. I am the creator of the page. Do we have to delete the page and start over?

Hi @GBudroe -

The title page should not be removed, instead you can submit any title data corrections through our online Contribution form.  For detailed instructions on how to correct data I encourage you to review our Help Guide.  If you have already submitted updates and they are being declined, post the 18-digit submission reference numbers here so our staff can take a look.

Concerning the inappropriate imagery issue, did you report these images through the image report form?
