Creole or Pidgin is not the name of a language

As the guide clearly states (https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/guide/language) "Creole is not a specific language; it refers to the way a language has evolved." The same goes for Pidgin. Yet there are currently 265 titles with the language Creole (http://www.imdb.com/search/title?languages=qal) and 32 titles with the language Creole and pidgins (http://www.imdb.com/search/title?languages=crp). Can a staffer please delete all of these and make sure Creole and Creole and pidgins are removed from the drop-down menu in the language section?

they are now no longer available to be selected.
Creole is currently available to be selected. I think it got added when this title: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt7745960/reference managed to get Creole added as a language.
Can you remove Creole from this title and from the drop-down menu in the languages list?

I don't know if this has been tried before, but I would recommend that once Creole is deleted, if someone tries to submit Creole as a language again, it should be automatically rejected with a warning based on the language guide:
Creole is not the name of a specific language; it refers to the way a language has evolved. Please provide the name of the specific creole language used in this title. For example, some of the more common creoles listed in the database are Haitian; Morisyen (spoken in Mauritius); Kabuverdianu (Cape Verde); and Kriolu (Guinea-Bissau).
This will help lead contributors to the language they mean, which in most cases I suspect would be Haitian.

Hi Marco, sorry for the delay with this. Some of the technology that powers the list of available options in the submission interface has changed recently, so this request has been left pending. That said, the path forward now is fairly straightforward so I've requested the change and it's just pending resource to push it through. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Marco -

I can confirm that "Creole" is no longer displayed as a selection within the Languages drop-down section of our Update form.  Cheers!

I see the same. Thanks for the response Michelle. I'm happy to know that Creole as well as Creole and Pidgins is no longer an option in the language drop-down menu.

This is so wrong. You can't delete the language of over 100 million people just like that!

I submitted a request on this, with context

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/please-include-pidgin-in-the-filmtv-languages-list/62247db556bba8382dc3a9e4

Please kindly overturn this decision.

Thank you.
