Contributor zone and IMDb staff have been ignoring a problem I posted a month ago
Here's the deal: "50 Million Frenchmen" (1931) has an "Also known as . . ." title ("Nancy from Naples") that belongs with a different film by the same top cast (Olsen and Johnson), namely "Oh Sailor Behave!" (1930). In fact, "Oh Sailor . . ." already has "Nancy from Naples" listed as an aka title (and other sources support that as being historically correct). Here's the problem: I've posted two requests to delete "Nancy" from "Frenchmen" (220723-233038-712000 and 220816-202641-810000) as well as two requests (more like pleas!) for help from the Contributor Community to remedy this simple situation and tell me what I might have done wrong (?), and 1) the deletion requests come back marked "Needs Attention!" (which I've never seen before this), and explained by the phrase "badly formatted". How can a simple deletion request be badly formatted? and 2) neither the Community nor IMDb staff have even addressed my requests for help. I don't know what's worse, getting rejections for silly reasons (badly formatted) or being ignored by the Contributor Community.

Hi @gerald_jones_phd -
I can confirm that staff have addressed the issue reported on your previous thread and the incorrect alternate title has been removed from the "50 Million Frenchmen (1931) " title page. Concerning the reason for the declined submissions, this was a processing error and I have alerted the appropriate team of the error for visibility.
Additionally, I understand your frustration regarding the delayed response, unfortunately we are working through a backlog of threads within the community and are working through them as fast as we can.
