BUG REPORT: An existing roman numeral is offered when creating a new name

Hi, folks:

While auditing the on-screen credits of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023), I was trying to add some 'Megan Moore' to the Visual Effects department.

This is what happens when I simply enter 'Moore, Megan' and let the system make suggestions:

Note that when suggesting a different person that does not currently exist in , the system offers to create the 32nd iteration of the name. The problem is that such Megan Moore (XXXII) already exists in the database, as can be seen even in the suggestion list above. Of course, if I choose to create that “new name”, the system detects that it actually already exists (and warns me that it has no credits in the visual effects department), and it fails again to suggest a proper 'Moore, Megan (XXXIII)' iteration.

Interestingly, it is also not possible to create the name 'Moore, Megan (XXXIII)' manually, because irremediably the system keeps suggesting 'Moore, Megan (XXXII)' as the next available iteration.

Can you please take a look? Thank you very much.

Cheers!

Hi @ljdoncel -

Our team informs that this has now been fixed.  Can you confirm if this was an isolated issue or you've found or across multiple names (with further examples, if that's the case).

Cheers!

Thank you very much, Bethanny.

So far this has been the only time I have encountered this problem. If I notice it again, I'll report it here.

Cheers!
