A/A IMDb Staff. Displaying bug (DIRTRADE items without an explanation)

Apparently the solution is to edit the guidelines and delete some entries rather than to fix the tech to allow previously submitted, guideline-compiant entries to be displayed.

I see that the solution has been to require that any trivia entry beginning with the DIRTRADE tag must comply with the full syntax. And the guidelines have been updated accordingly.

But I also see that the two improperly formatted entries for Jurassic Park (1993) have been removed rather than corrected or made visible, just like the many others throughout the database that will continue to be ignored and not displayed (e.g., The Evil Dead (1981), Paycheck (2003)...). I understand that it would be a futile effort to track them down and delete them one by one, but, if it has been decided that they should remain in the system, perhaps it would have been a good idea to make them visible.

More important, there is still a minor issue with entries that include a SPOILER tag. Please check how the form behaves with the following trivia items:

• ✅New #1: Expected behavior. Incomplete syntax is rejected.
• ✅New #2: Expected behavior. Complete syntax is accepted.
• ❌New #3: Unexpected behavior. Placing a SPOILER tag at the beginning of the entry overrides the system's DIRTRADE syntax check, allowing you to submit items without a keyword or explanation.
• ✅New #4: Expected behavior. Placing the SPOILER tag after the DIRTRADE tag triggers the yellow warning reminding you that the SPOILER tag must always be placed at the beginning of the entry.
• ⚠️✅New #5: Unexpected (though irrelevant) behavior. The SPOILER tag at the beginning overrides the syntax check, but this has no effect because the user is an experienced contributor who formats the entry correctly anyway.
