Why is the search bar so slow at responding to the keyboard

@Col_Needham  You misunderstood my issue.  It is not the actual search, it's the entering of the search criteria via the keyboard.  When I press any letter on the keyboard it does not respond.  I don't see what I am typing for at least 10 seconds.  Then all of sudden most of the keys I typed will appear, it usually misses the first two characters though.  This started when the new interface was released. 

@gquiring  Thanks, yes, we understood your description of the problem from your first post — this system is known as “suggestion search” — the advice on seeing what happens with a different browser or in a private / incognito window on your current browser applies.  If the delay is still the same, please provide the information we requested in (a) (b) (c) above, thanks.  The update to the search has nothing to do with the update to the UI — they are separate systems, but your answer to (c) above will help confirm that in case there’s a strange interaction which is only affecting your specific set-up. 

Problem solved it was my Adguard Adblocker which was installed on all of my PC's.  Once I disabled it for IMDB the keyboard responds very quickly in the search bar.   Thanks for the help Gary

@daniel_francis_gardecki No it hasn’t always been like this. I would say maybe the last month or so. Mind you, I lose all track of time It could be even longer

@cynthias_3403163 / @daniel_francis_gardecki  Please see above, you likely have an ad blocker or other plugin which is interfering with the display of IMDb pages.  Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF and note the point on trying an incognito / private browsing tab and/or other browsers.  If there are still problems, please can you let us know (a) in which country you are located (b) which browsers / systems have the problem and (c) is the issue only confined to the new title pages or are you seeing it on other pages too, particularly name pages and the home page?
