Why are there not more "Instant Watch Options" options in the Advanced Title Search?

I love that you can see what streaming services a title is on when you go to the title's page, but why can't I filter with that in Advanced Title Search? Would love to be able to look for a horror movie made in the 1980s in my watchlist that is streaming on Netflix or Hulu etc.

Hello @ethanct86,

Thank you so much for your feedback! We provide links to the Prime Video catalog and other streaming providers when available as a service to our visitors. The streaming providers available will be dependent on geographical location.

You can use the Advanced title search and filter by "Instant watch options" here:

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/

Regarding your watch list; when on compact or detailed view, you can select the information button to see if that title is available on any streaming service without fully opening the title. When on grid view, you can do the same by clicking "Watch options".

No yeah I get that, but sometimes for example I just want to search to see if there's a movie on my watchlist that is on Netflix. Is there a reason why it's only Prime Video on here? I would like more options than just Amazon.

@ethanct86 This requires permission from the streaming providers and the above are the only ones which permit us to do this type of searching, sorry.
