Where could I at any point find a rundown of shows and motion pictures that are recording in my city?

I think IMDb has a page where you can type your city into a search bar and it will tell you what shows are filming there. Does anyone know where this is?

There used to be a really cool feature on IMDb called a "Location Tree" that you could use to both search and browse locations. IMDb should definitely bring this back.

Until IMDb brings back the Location Tree, there are a couple workarounds.

First is to use the "Filming Locations" field on an advanced title search.

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/

Example: all titles with "New Jersey" in the names of locations.

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?locations=new+jersey

Second method is to use Google and add in the word "location" to your search.

Sample Google search:

imdb new jersey locations

First hit from that search:

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?locations=New%20Jersey,%20USA

Edit: and since you asked for a specific city, that data can be retrieved, too.

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?locations=Montpelier,%20Vermont,%20USA
