Website format on PCs

Hi,

I've noticed, as of today, that the IMDB website 'fails' to correctly format on my (desktop) windows 10 pc.

I tried it on different browsers (e.g. Edge, Chrome & Firefox) and encountered the same issue on all (same) browsers.

It seems ok on both my Ipad & Samsung phone.

Just thought you needed to be made aware of  this issue.

Regards,

John (w.)

Tried suggested approach (i.e. clearing cache, ad blockers, etc) and all browser versions in use were already (and still are) up to date. Issue persists.

Please review attached screenshot of issue as presented.

@johnboySorry to hear. If you disabled all plugins and opened private browsing / incognito windows, yet IMDb still did not load, then given there are no widespread reports of similar problems, this is going to be a local problem with your system and/or network which is difficult for us to diagnose remotely, sorry.

If you have a VPN, please try disabling it, or better, if you have another network available (for example, using your phone as a WiFi hot-spot) try again using that and let us know.

@johnboy We have seen a small number of similar problem reports so if the above did not work, please you let us know in which country you are located?

@johnboy In addition to trying another network as suggested above, please can you also provide screengrabs of an example title page and an example name page where you are seeing the issue?

I've managed to resolve the issue in regard to using Firefox as my default browser.

I'd tried various setting (e.g. involving private browsing options) and clearing cache/history etc...  bit nothing seemed to resolve this issue presented.

As an alternative approach I firstly uninstalled Firefox and then ran (Norton 360) security checks [Note. Nothing was detected.).

I then downloaded, and installed (same version of), Firefox again.

The issue encountered/reported is no longer present.

I think (best guess based on my career as an Test Team Leader & Manager) the issue was due to some data [corruption] within register entries was involved.
