Title Pages: Show the composer on main title pages

I think that the film composer(s) name should be posted on the front page just as the director, writers, and stars names are posted. I feel like the composer should be recognized more, they put a lot into the film and work very close with the director!

Doesn't everyone put a lot into the film and work closely with the director?

Not as much as the main characters, writer, and composer.

I don't think they would move Composers above the cast unless they also move at least the Producer. Note that Composers are listed high in the full llist on the Combined page (4th group after Director, Writer and Producer sections) The Composer is listed above the cast in both Pro and Pro-labs versions; The Pro version shows a simple list  (I am using the 1st Harry Potter film as the example) : Filmmakers: Chris Columbus - Director, J.K. Rowling - Writer (novel), Steve Kloves - Writer (screenplay), David Heyman -Producer, John Seale - Cinematographer, John Williams - Composer, Stuart Craig - Production Designer, Richard Francis-Bruce - Editor more » The Pro-labs version is a more standard layout. Filmmakers (1,127) Director     Chris Columbus Writers      J.K. Rowling (Novel) | Steve Kloves (Screenplay) Producer   David Heyman Composer John Williams Cinematographer  John Seale Editor       Richard Francis-Bruce Casting Directors  Susie Figgis | Janet Hirshenson | Jane Jenkins | Karen Lindsay-Stewart Production Designer  Stuart Craig

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled The film composer credit needs to be on the main movie page, not buried at the en.... Music is so important to film, it seems really silly to have to click to a second page to find out who wrote the music. Hitchcock would have wanted Bernard Herrmann's name right below his own! Same for Tim Burton/Danny Elfman, Fellini/Rota, etc. Give music it's rightful place on the main page of a film!
