Title pages — new version available for sneak peek
IMDb is working on updates to the Title page. The new version of the page is mobile-responsive, meaning all features are available on devices of all sizes, and has a modern look and feel — otherwise it maintains all the functionality of the current page, though some features have moved on the page.
The new version of the page is available to a limited group of fans during a beta period. During the beta, some features are still under construction, and you may encounter bugs.
UPDATE: now available!

I tried out the new interface for IMDb today. I understand the desire to update the look of the site and I support the implementation of a bolder, cleaner interface. However, links to some of the pre-existing related content seem to have been sacrificed, creating orphan content. Case in point, the "See Also - Other Works" section for Colin Blakely. A number of entries have been made in this section, but as near as I can tell, they are inaccessible in the new format. Is this an oversight or is that content going away? I hope it's not the latter.

agree with bderoes- too much white space and too much scrolling. (Win10, firefox and no zoom). Thanks!

Please, no!
— Also, there’s no reason to make the trailer preview so giant. I would click it regardless of its size if I wanted to watch the trailer. So, this huge picture just wastes space for no reason.
Sorry for my English, I’m not a native speaker. I started to use IMDb after Russian site Kinopoisk has been completely messed up by Yandex, and I’m afraid Amazon is going to do the same to IMDb.

In the old version the year of release would be listed after the title.
In the new version the year is no longer listed after the title.
The year is important as many movies have the same title and need the year to differentiate them.
So I would really like it if you showed the title with year in the new version as well.

In the old way the title would be shown like this Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988)
and the exact release date for you country would be shown below that
In the new way the title is shown without the year like this Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
and below that the year 1988 and no exact release date.
Year is very important to list together with the title, as my movies have the same title.
The exact release date for your country is also very important as that is what people usually want to know about.
So both these changes are bad ones in my opinion. Please change them back.

Hi I wanted to leave comment on Report issue but failed as you cannot enter comment there.
So I think you should hide number of episodes actor acted in TV show, as that is kind of spoiler. It should be hidden and shown when "Show episodes" or similar button is pressed.

Looks nice but.. I must now click on lists to check if I already have this title in one of my lists but in the old site was enough just to move the mouse over the the titles (+) symbol. Please continue with this feature.
I hope that you add more features to the lists section as colors that one can directly recognize without clicking the titles again

Like the old setup better. Just leave it alone. The new one takes way more space and scrolling to view stuff. Why is it that everybody is always trying to "Improve" something that has nothing wrong with it. Most web pages now include huge banners/menus at the top of the page. Not bad when viewed on a portrait screen, but on a landscape laptop, the banners take up 25-30% of the screen. At least make them so they can be closed and opened like the rest of the totally messed up menu systems Microsoft came up with a few years ago. "The Ribbon"

Thank you for sharing the preview. In my opinion this re-design is just following bad practice of blow up style happening all across the web. I wonder what the target screen size is? My monitor is 24" 1920x1200, not big but above average, as I recall. Anyhow, the layout is bad, there is too much empty space, too big type, too big photos, you have to literally walk across the screen to find things. They are all over the screen. The page is endlessly long and I use hyper scroll mouse (!). Absolutely NOT user friendly.
And the worst - it just looks like any other website out there, no soul!
What is wrong with your current website design? You could polish it a bit, work on its design, make it a litter bit wider, emphasize most common items ... I could do it for you, seriously! But no, you take a "template" and voila! Shit happens ;-)
I am actually using default 80% zoom in my browser to shrink current ridiculous web design down.
However, I am happy to see that I am not the only one with negative opinion :-)) I am going to post a question about current web design to Quora, that's what I'm gonna do ;-)
Cheers!

"More Like This" section of the new design only displays posters, ratings, and titles. Old design also lets me see (after mouse-over) brief plot summary, director, and 1 or 2 top actors. Thus the old design for that section is more informative and useful.

The new layout of the title page is terrible. Not only is it slow, it gives priority to "pictures" more than "content". If I'm looking for an actor, currently I've got a proper list to go through, with the next column for the character. So I can just scan down which column I'm interested in.
The new layout is basically useless. Creating 2-columns style for the actors, actually prevents scanning the list. The larger photos are also distracting.
This layout makes me believe that people no longer know how to read. I don't even have the words to describe how much I hate this trend of pictures before information. Let's just say that this layout sucks

I am disappointed that you have eliminated Showtimes from current run cinema titles. bad sign for the cinema industry.

Why is this title in French? And all the others in English?
