System-wide IMDb Problem..!

As some are aware, the photo galleries feature a very useful overview page, as with this example:

The only way for the uninitiated to access this page is by clicking on "Photos" in the lead page:

Yet for the past few months, when "Photos" is clicked on, the link goes to the first photo in the gallery. The only way to access the overview page has been to replace "mediaviewer" with "mediaindex" in the link; naturally, many wouldn't know to do so, meaning the overview page has been invisible.

Can the problem be fixed? The staffer would deserve accolades, and the one who responds is requested to return to this page shortly afterwards, for further sentiments.

@Maximize  This is by design, sorry.   To access the old gallery view, simply click the gallery icon in the upper right of the photo page, highlighted in red here and next to the photo count:

or use the “Photos” link in the “All Topics” menu in the upper right of any name/title page, again highlighted in red:

Hope this helps.

Well, that was easy! An old hand as myself should have known better, but I haven't tinkered with all ins and outs of the "new" system. (Regardless, I wish that element would have been preserved. The link to the gallery's first photo takes care of those wanting to get a close view of the first photo. It makes so much more sense for clicking on "Photos" to get to the overview page, and not the first photo.)

What was much more important for me is that you answered! I know everyone gushes over you (and you probably find praise tiresome at this point), but please allow me to take this opportunity to let you know that (as you described yourself in your "I'm the CEO" article) a bonafide "cinema buff" as myself has had the deepest appreciation for your creation for many years, for which I would like to sincerely thank you. (I have paid back this appreciation, at least in some part, in many, many ways through the years.)

I promised "accolades" toward the agent who would fix the problem I raised (which now happens to have not turned out to be such a problem), but little did I know that sorry word, "accolades," cannot begin to describe what I feel in my heart.

I brought up this "Photos" problem twice through the help center, and my letters were ignored. There is a very disturbing reason as to why, and now that I have you, I am going to ask for your help. (In fact, at this point you are the only one who can help me, and I am hoping you meant what you wrote in your article in regard to "Customer Obsession continues to be one of my most personally meaningful Leadership Principles." In effect, I am going to ask you to be at least somewhat "obsessed" with this particular "customer.")

As busy as you must be, please spend the time to review the situation, which has been laid out at https://tinyurl.com/5n7ccu93.

That's another one of those icons that are invisible in browser-imposed night mode.

@Maximize Mr. Needham, I thank you very much for your reply, and wished to let you know that I have responded (offering the promised accolades), but (I suppose) since another issue was mentioned, my response has been marked as "Private" and made inaccessible for general viewing. I request for you to please seek my response. Thank you.
