Site Suggestion: "Parodied" section in Actor Credits
Add "Parodied" credits to "Actor" "Producer" "Writer" etc, etc. list to give IMDB users a full scope of the works an Actor has influenced. This section would include all "appearances" and/or references of an actor that was voiced or acted by an actor other than themselves in a way that pays homage to that actor. For instance Jim Carey would have the Ace Venture Pet Detective the animated series credited to him in the "Parodied" section becase it wasn't his voice but was another actor's voice even though the character was obviously modeled after Jim Carey when he played the character in the live action movies. As a Jim Carey fan, IMDB users may have never known about the animated show because it doesn't show in his credits even though a character playing him is in it. The Parodied section could have a disclaimer stating that the credits are not formally representative of the actor but are rather others interpretations of the actor so as not to upset anyone. It would be a fun way for people who are fans of Sean Connery for instance who has been referenced and parodied many times, to see just how far his influence actually reaches. The Parody credits can name the actor as well as the movie/tv show as well as the scene or exact time in which the Parody took place. This could be largely supported by IMDB user input..
