Search using attributes

You can also exclude genres from the results, but it is somewhat of a power user feature since you have to manually edit the URL of the search results.  To exclude a genre, simply insert a “!” before the genre in the Advanced Title Search URL.  For example, this is all series with the horror genre from 2024 ->

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=tv_series&release_date=2024-01-01,2024-12-31&genres=horror

And to make it be all series from 2024 which are not horror, edit the URL to become ->

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=tv_series&release_date=2024-01-01,2024-12-31&genres=!horror
