Search: Suggestion search language problem
Search for Non English movie given English suggestions Say I search for Respublika SHKID (1966) a valid and original title. Suggestion given is The Republic of ShKID (1966) the English title for the same movie. I'd much rather be given the original title not the English one. My site settings are Title display country - Original Title display language - English There is no Original setting for Title display language which is where I think the problem arises. Example given is a simple one. But I have experienced much more difficult searches where it is impossible to tell from the offered English suggestions which is the non-English movie I want. This seems to have only occurred recently. I don't recall having this problem in the past.

Thank you for your feedback, Keester. At this time, the search suggestions do not show you the title in the title display language you have chosen via your settings. However, once you complete your search, the search results will show you the corresponding titles, along with the "aka" title matching your search. We will change this thread to an Idea, where our staff and other IMDb users can vote on it. This will allow us to measure the level of interest. Thank you for your support.
