Reuse of email address previously connected to deleted imdb account

Hi,

I currently have two imdb accounts. One account linked to a hotmail email which is no longer active but contains my extensive rating history and watchlist which i would like to keep, and a second account linked to my active gmail email which i would like to use moving forward. As i cannot migrate my ratings history between from the hotmail account to the gmail account (please let me know if i'm mistaken), i believe my only option is to delete my gmail imdb account, and change the email address associated with my hotmail imdb account from hotmail to gmail. Before doing this, however, i would like your confirmation that by deleting my gmail imdb account I am not making the associated email address permanently unusable in connection with other imdb accounts in the future. Please let me know if this is the case, or if perhaps there is a period of time after which it can be reused.
