Restricted information on ratings page

Why is the amount of years (or interests) on the 'most rated' or 'top rated' lists restricted? I've seen films from circa 1896 onwards every year after that, but now I can't even check if I remember it correctly. You can only click "show 15 more" two times and then it's done. It's way less than half of my list!! Why put such an artificial limit? I use browser.

The ratings insights on your profile page are just a quick summary of the most common data. It is restricted to allow quick loading. To access your full ratings history, please visit your full ratings history at https://www.imdb.com/list/ratings/ (which you can access via the menu in the upper right of every IMDb page).

On the ratings page you can further refine your ratings via the menu in the upper left of the ratings (triangle icon) or start at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?my_ratings=restrict to refine your ratings in other ways.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I actually meant the profile page as you assumed correctly. Sure on the ratings page I can check eg. year by year, by ratings or what not (I noticed it is easy to check the oldest film), but I like the instant average vote statistics on the profile. Like... "Wow! I've given so good ratings for 1929 films. I want to see what they were, because I can only remember a couple of those." You can't see your averages on the ratings page. Or am I missing something?

@blancovic Thanks for confirming, yes, we are only able to offer selected highlights on the "Insights" section due to scaling issues, sorry. If, for example, you wanted to see 1929 titles which you have rated, sorted by your rating, then follow the second link which I shared above, and enter "1929" into the start and end dates of the "Release dates" section to reach: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?release_date=1929-01-01,1929-12-31&my_ratings=restrict&sort=my_ratings,desc
