Removal of IMDb Account “Sign in with Facebook”
Effective October 06, 2022, you will no longer be able to use “Sign in with Facebook“ to access your IMDb account. You can maintain access to your account and any saved information by setting a password on your IMDb account using the reset password process. Once you have done this, you will be able to use the “Sign in with IMDb” option for any future logins.
If you previously used "Sign in with Facebook" to access your IMDb account, please take the following steps to retain access to your account:
- Go to the IMDb Reset Password Page.
- Input the email associated with your Facebook account and select "Continue". You will receive an email with a link to reset your IMDb password.
- Return to the IMDb sign in page and select "Sign in with IMDb" to log in to IMDb with your email and new password.
If you have previously followed these instructions or have already set a password for your IMDb account, please return to the sign in page and use the "Sign in with IMDb" login method.
If you do not reset your password, you will not be able to access your IMDb account and the associated data (e.g. contributions, lists, ratings, recommendations, etc.).

What should I do if my account was connected to my facebook profile, which i cannot login through anymore, but the e-mail address connected to my facebook wasnt updated for a long time, so that email address doesnt work anymore. Is there any way to not lose my IMDB account?

I have used IMDb for years. Yesterday it asked me to log in. I think it was linked to my Facebook which can no longer be used. So I requested a new password but IMDb are sending the code to my old email address I no longer use. Can I get my old account back?

The application was exited because the Facebook login was terminated (i think). I login using my google account and I can't see the data of the watchlist, in which more than 1000 watched and saved movies were saved. I'm currently see 3 movies in it. Is there a way to restore the original watchlist? The two email addresses are the same.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,
I can’t sign in IMDB with my Facebook account anymore. I tried to reset my password with associated account with my Facebook but it doesn’t work.
I have been using my account years almost everyday. All my watch list collection, thousands of movies I followed is gone.
I am very disappointed…
what can I do now?

Hi,
I have lost access to login by Facebook on IMDB, and every time I try to login using FB app; it directs me to a notification page “Unavailable access to Facebook..”
So I had to login with another option. But I lost all my data (lists, ratings).. How can I recover my data?

I have 2 accounts on same email
One of them facebook linked account
And the other one is normal imdb account
But the problem is i was using the facebook one since there is no facebook login option i cant reach that account
Please help me i need my Ratings and watch list it is an 10 years old account
