release date display

hey
i was wondering. the site seems to display release dates of movies and even of episodes of tv shows based on the very country im am currently in. this is somewhat annoying, because it is absolutely irrelevant to me and i assume to many others as well. just imagine living in eastern europe and how inconvenient it is having to constantly look up manually the original dates to account for the often 10-20 year difference in release dates when you are curious about an era in general, not in relevance to your specific location. i suggest a simple feature such as the 'Title display country/region' setting to be introduced, only for 'release date display'
i hope you guys can see how that would be practical
