Yeah there was a feature where they had a box in your profile sidebar which suggested users, but it was pretty random and they removed it. I'd like to see it return based on matches with your ratings.

Recommendations should be based on ratings of users with similar taste and not on whether I've clicked on some movie page. When I click on a movie link I don't know if I'll like the movie or not. Most often I'm just searching for something to watch.

Also there should be some options to tune the recommendations like minimal user rating, minimal number of votes, minimal taste similarity etc.

And the box with side-scrolling is not very comfortable. Try using "normal" list similar to ratings or top lists.

Yes, please do this. I know there is already a way to go to a specific public profile and see the Pearson Correlation between me and the user, but it's not the useful unless the system can also tell me which users in the system have the highest correlation.
