Ratings: Yearly Ratings in Stats for TV Shows
User ratings for a TV show in its entirety will depend on the date/year in which it is reviewed. People often change their overall rating when a TV show changes in perceived quality, and persists at that level. Say, I've lowered my overall rating of a show when I feel it's gotten a lot worse and has failed to improve, although my individual episode ratings will remain the same. I was wondering can, and if, you (or someone with the power to do so) would be willing to add the mean rating per year to the stats page for user reports of a show. I think it'd give a clearer, more concise idea of the perceived show quality as it fluctuates, than having only those of each singular ep. I know the votes would depend on what episodes the user has personally seen, and they may not align with the current season at the time of voting - but I think that'd largely average out. I think this would do justice to the better (usually earlier) seasons of a show when the latter/current season(s) have become more formulaic or dumbed down. Just a thought that I really hope is considered! Thanks :) Ps. Sorry if this has already been brought up - couldn't find it anywhere

Oh, I thought it would've been brought up but of course couldn't find these posts until AFTER I published this! So no need to reply unless you want to and have new info, but I'll check up on similar posts every so often.
