Ratings export not working correctly

On my IMDB profile and in my IMDB ratings list I have 27,165 titles rated.  However, when I download the data to a csv file using the Export option, I only have 27,140.  Where are the missing 25?  Is there an issue with the download that causes some to be missed?

It doesn't appear to be a browser issue: I get the same problem in Chrome and Edge.

Another user queried this three years ago and was told that some titles get removed because they were duplicates (though I'd be surprised if there are 25 duplicates in my list).  If so, shouldn't my profile tally reduce too?  If not, isn't this a bug that needs to be fixed?

@grantss Thanks for the problem report; at this volume of votes, a 25 title difference is about as expected given presumably you have rated them over decades.  The missing 25 are not necessarily duplicates as such, but they correspond to titles which have been merged over the years.  For example, a title may accidentally have had two pages on IMDb early in its release history and when this is later discovered the pages are merged.  In certain rare cases, the merge may leave a trace of the second title in the voting system.  The ratings export drops such duplicates from the file so it is actually the export which is correct and the ratings list which has the hidden excess titles.  If you visit https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?my_ratings=restrict this should show 27,140 (the same if you have the IMDb mobile app).

The lists system is one of the oldest parts of the IMDb software still running and it is scheduled to move to our new technology platform soon. This should resolve the issue.

Hope this helps.
