Notifications for shows not on Watchlist

@torqueflite  You can opt-out of the general emails via https://www.imdb.com/preferences/email and just leave either or both of the following active as appropriate:  Watchlisted Shows on Tonight - When a show from your Watchlist is airing, we will send you a short message. Watchlisted Movies in Wide Release - When a movie on your Watchlist is about to release, we will send you a short message.For more information, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/manage-your-email-subscriptions-and-watchlist-notifications/GFSALECHJBMR4U5B Hope this helps. 

I've adjusted my Preferences, opted out of General Emails, checked the boxes only for "Watchlisted Shows on Tonight" and "Watchlisted Movies in Wide Release," but I have yet to be notified of any of them. However, I still get notifications for "True Detective" which is not on my Watchlist. How can I eliminate emails for shows not on my list? Thanks.  -- torqueflite
