Solved

My ratings aren't showing

Hello!

My ratings are not showing. They don't show when I go to 'Your ratings' OR when I go directly to a movie's page. Also, I can't enter new ratings for movies that I recently watched.

I'm using Firefox. I tried logging out and logging back in, and I tried clearing my cache, but nothing seems to work.

Can you help? Thank you in advance!

@the_slurpee_king This appears to be a local problem, sorry.  Please follow the advice on https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF and let us know what happens.  If this does not solve the problem, please let us know which browsers, operating systems, and hardware you have tried. Also how does this page look for you -> https://www.imdb.com/list/ratings/

Using the link, I can see the movies that I've rated, but I can't see the ratings.

I'm on Firefox on my home PC. I tried it on Edge as well, and it doesn't work there, either. I tried in on my work PC, and it seems to be working properly.

Would you happen to have any suggestions?

@the_slurpee_king The suggestions are in the help article above; this is likely an ad blocker or VPN issue (note that it is sometimes not enough to just switch such software off if vital parts of the IMDb pages have already been blocked while the software was still active).  Perhaps try again with VPNs/plugins disabled, open a private/incognito window and login there; see also the advice in the help page on trying a different network, such as a phone hot-spot.

Hope this helps.

I think I found it. It's AVG being difficult. As you suggested, I turned it off and went to my ratings. They showed as normal. I turned AVG back on, and my ratings disappeared.

I don't know exactly what part of AVG is doing it, but thank you!

@the_slurpee_king Thanks for confirming the cause of the problem.  We would appreciate it if you could report the issue to AVG so that they can fix the problem on their side.

Yes!

I have the same issue.

I would have never guessed this could be the cause.

I'll write to them. Let's hope they believe it. :)
