My list is set as Public but shows as Private to others. HELP!

@Jon​ Why would having links in the description cause the list to be set as private? Seems like a flaw that should be addressed.

Also, I just clicked the link to the list above and it said the list was not public, so maybe this issue hasn't been fixed after all?

@mbmb​ Perhaps. But there's also many legitimate reasons why someone would want to include links in the description. It shouldn't result in automatic privatization unless there's something suspicious about the links.

@Jon​ Hi. I was not aware of the hyperlink in description rule. I've removed the link and tried to set it to private and public again but it looks like the option to make it public continues to be disabled for my list. Could you make my list (link below) public? Thank you.

I have a list which does show up as public, but gets zero views (despite being four years old). Does this have something to do with the 1 out of 411 titles that happens to be in the "adult" genre?

IMDb has an automated system to disable lists with certain content and one of the reasons why the lists are no longer public is because the system detects hyperlinks in the list description. At this moment the system does not check for hyperlinks, that is why we recommend not to have them. Otherwise, the system will disable the list again as it happened again, that's why when you checked it, it didn't work, because they didn't remove the hyperlinks.

We have fixed the list, but as long as the hyperlinks are not removed I am afraid it will be disabled again.

@Jon​ It's literally a requirement to have a hyperlink in the description when creating polls. This is a bad policy.

Hi Jon, the outside hyperlinks are present only in movie descriptions, but not on the list itself. 
The list description contains only internal IMDB links.
