Movie trailer with sound and seek controls in a title's main page

Hello!

Currently, in a movie title's main page on the web (desktop or mobile), the trailer placeholder is displayed on top of the page and it's running a mute trailer by default. Clicking on it will trigger the browser to switch to a new, separate page, dedicated to watching the trailer.

This is a usability problem, in my opinion. Because many times I personally want to "browse" through the trailer to get some hints about the sceneries, the editing, the acting and so on. I don't want to leave the page because I also want to see additional info like the cast, awards and so on.

Ideally, the trailer would be displayed and watched in the same main movie page, without the costly navigation to a different page. It wastes time, network traffic and patience from the viewer, in my opinion :-)
Also, since the video is already playing without sound, I think it would be much better to add an unmute button and simple seek and play/pause controls.

I'm not sure who reads these posts, but if the developers team reads it, can you please improve the main movie title page to display the main trailer as an embedded video, with sound and seek controls, without navigating away from the page when clicking on the "play" icon?

Thank you!

Below is an example of such a page and trailer placeholder:
