Movie genre sorting options on IMDB
I wonder if the sorting options can be improved on IMDB? Currently, when you sort on let's say comedies, you will also get to see horror-comedies, but this is a bit annoying. I think IMDB should make sorting options for movies that are pure comedies and movies that are horror-comedies, do you guys understand me, I hope I explained it in a clear way?

I am not aware of a way to do a search to limit the results to single-genre titles (in other words, titles that only have the Comedy genre and no other genre).
However, there is a way to search for Comedy titles and then filter out other specific genre. You can do this as a title search and then add an exclamation point before any genre you want to exclude.
For example, this search produces all Comedy titles, while excluding any Comedy titles that also are assigned the Horror genre:
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?genres=comedy&genres=!horror
And you can exclude as many genres as you want, by adding a comma and an exclamation point for each genre you want to exclude, as shown below:
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?genres=comedy&genres=!horror,!sci-fi,!war,!action
