Mark movie or program as seen/watched

Hi everyone,

I've seen a few posts about this, but nothing that I can find a clear answer on.

I would like to be able to see which programs and movies I've already seen from the main information tab, and it seems that the only option is to do this by adding it to the watchlist, and then creating a list of items to watch - or to make sure I rate everything.

Are there any other workarounds or am I missing a feature?

Thank you so much for your help.

The IMDb-provided Watchlist comes with notification features, so it's really intended for titles _to_be_ watched.

It's also the most convenient way to collect search results into a list.

So I create a list for Watched titles.

But it's also the only list where IMDb indicates list-membership on the title page and elsewhere.

I utilize a user-script to augment IMDb. Screenshot & details here:

@bderoes
Thank you for this - this wouldn't show on the front screen of looking at an movie through would it? I'm after something so that when I'm browsing a film I can tell at a glance if I've seen it before (if my memory fails me!), without having to scroll through or search a list.
