Making the site more female inclusive

I feel like a female perspective is missing a space on this site. Most of the user reviews are written by men and the site doesn't do anything to acknowledge that. I scroll through the Michels and Steves, but i feel without representation often as a girl reading them . This site plays a huge part in choosing what people see, but it doesn't tell you anything about the users who are the ones creating the score. Percentually it would be nice to know how equal the viewpoint is or even to see the age or gender identity of the people whose voice i base my media on. I would love for Imdb to feel like a platform that would also connect people with similar taste but now its hard to choose anything as a user that would make it feel more inclusive.  I'd love for that to be improved.

The ratings are broken down by demographics - WHEN the user provides that.
