Making a list of the top 250 animations

It would be great if this site published a list of the top 250 animated films. Yes, I know such a list is made by members, but it is more official and authoritative. Just like the top 250 movies or TV series. You might say that animations are in the list of movies, but I have to say that very few of them are in the list of top 250 movies and good animations like Shrek or Ice Age or Aladdin are not in this list. Animations deserve a separate list on the site.

@johnny9874563210 You can create one using Advanced Title Search at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/ (see also https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/discover-watch/using-the-advanced-search-feature/GLUEUYWPQNPTEVPU) For example, this uses a vote threshold of 25,000 like the Top 250 -> https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature&num_votes=25000,&genres=animation&sort=user_rating,desc Here’s one with a lower threshold of 10,000 votes and only English language movies -> https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature&num_votes=10000,&genres=animation&primary_language=en&sort=user_rating,desc Hope this helps.

The search-generated lists do not use the same formula as the Top 250 lists, so they do not have the same ranking and are not "Just like the top 250 movies or TV series". It is a bit odd that IMDb uses one ranking for the Top 250 lists, but does not see any use for it for other charts.
