Main page search category won't stick.

Before the most recent update to the imdb.com page, I could select, for example, "keyword", and then enter various terms in the search field one after the other.  Now, after each entry, the search category reverts to "All", which means I have to select "keyword" for every single search.  Please consider changing this back.

Still seems to work for me.

It seems to depend on which version of the page comes up; I'm getting the old one sometimes and the new one sometimes..  With the old version (category to the right of a white text entry field), it works fine.  With the new version (category to the left of a black text entry field), it doesn't retain the category selection, at least for me.  Laptop PC, Windows 10 Pro, Edge browser.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for your feedback about the updated experience with the search options on the IMDb desktop site. You are correct; currently when the results page populates, the search bar is reset to the "All" selection with no search term entered when you get to the results page. As we work to test out new experiences, you may experience either the old or new version of the navigation menus when you visit IMDb.com.

I've ensured this feedback has been shared with the appropriate team.

Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

Thanks for the feedback, and for converting this to "idea".
