Lists: When editing a list, all the items are not shown on one page!

When I am trying to edit one of my lists, it doesn't show all the items in one page. And the option to add an item to the list comes at every page of the list. And when you add some item to the list, through some page other than the last one, it creates a problem. Let me explain how:-

Suppose you have 113 items in your list. You try to edit the list. The editing page opens the first page of the list. First page of the list, contains 100 items, and second page contains 13 items. If you scroll down the first page, you see the option to add an item, and if you try to add an item, it doesn't add the item at the last ie 114th position, it adds the item at the 101st position, and then adjusts the position of items from 101 to 113th position!

Ideally, there is no point in opening the list in multiple pages, while editing. Even if you somehow need to do it or can't fix it, it is again an error to add the item in between the list. From wherever I add an item to a list, it should append at the very last.
