Lists: Sorting by TV show air dates from different countries

Hi, everyone. I have a silly question. I've created a list with TV show episodes from all shows I have on DVD. It automatically puts them in chronological order, which I like very much, so I can see which episodes were shown on TV in a certain year, week etc. But: I live in The Netherlands and from some foreign shows there are episodes with Dutch airdates and the list lets me see the Dutch airdates firsts. Which causes that the chronology gets shuffled. Is there any way I can fix this? E.g. that I can the original airdates only?

Hi Robin,

At this time the release date sorting on a list is based on the first release date listed for the title.

I'll mark your question as an idea so our staff and other IMDb members can see your feedback regarding the release date sorting.

Hi, Ava, thanks for the reply! I checked again and you're right: it does exactly what I want it to do. Sorry for the trouble! On an episodes main page it shows me the Dutch release date (for example January 7, 1973, while the original date would be, let's say, February 6, 1972). So I thought the episode was placed in the year 1973. But when I'm looking in my created list, it puts the episode in the year 1972. It still shows the 1973 date, but it's put in the year of the original airdate. Again, sorry for the troubles and thank you for helping me clear this up!
