List order coding

I think the list order coding has gone a bit off. I have a list of directors I follow, with the sad news of William Friedkin's passing I removed him from the list, the numbering is (oddly) now 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8,8,9...308, 310. Behind the scenes it's obviously still OK (tells me the list has 311 people, 100 per page - first page ending on number 98 obviously), and the overall list order appears unchanged, but it's very confusing. Could you take a look please?
