Is There A Way To Report Technical Issues To IMDB?
Is there a way to report technical issues to IMDb? The IMDB customer support staff just seem to respond with canned replies which don't even address the issue being reported. Specifically, this film (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116768/), in Canada is rated as 14 or 14A in virtually all provinces (except Quebec which rates it G), despite the fact it refers to boiliing monkey ejaculate, shows images of gay porn, shows soldiers in a semi-nude state being told to go have intercourse with opposing soldiers on the battlefield, and contains a lot of cursing. With my user localization being set to Canada, the film comes up as G, which it is clearly not. Because of this I caught my children watching this film in early January - given it comes up as rated G, it circumvents Google content filtering. I spent many weeks working with various provincial ministries and updated IMDbs DB per their instructions, but it still shows as G, so IMDb either defaults to the least restrictive rating (which would obviously make no sense), or there is a technical issue. I reported this to IMDb support, and again, they sent the same instructions on how to update the DB with a referece to submit evidence for the credit roll, which is entirely irrelevant given what I was reporting. Is there a way to actually get technical support or issue escalation with IDMb support?
