Is it possible to remove the genre pop up?

I noticed that when your mouse hovers over the genre buttons, you now get to see a pop up, it's quite annoying, can this be removed?

It's annoying to me that if my mouse hovers over those links (not intentionally) I get to see such a pop up, I've always hated this on any website. I also don't see the point behind it, at least, I personally don't need it.

Any news on this? Because it's very annoying. I see that there is a new trend on the web where you get to see more and more mostly pointless pop ups.
