INTRODUCING: New navigation on the IMDb website!

We're excited to announce that on November 22, 2019, IMDb launched a new navigation experience across the mobile and desktop website. These changes provide an improved navigation experience to help you find something new to watch every day.Select "Menu" to find the parts of the site you know and love, like top-rated movies, celebrity news, and IMDb Originals. There is also easy access to IMDb TV (where available), your Watchlist, your Activity page and account settings.

I wonder why for the first time IMDb is dropping on the Alexa rank..I strongly doubt this would be the first time the Alexa ranking has dropped.

Want to know why the Alexa rating dropped? Let me tell you. I, like many lovers of IMDb's previous iteration, was dismayed and disappointed with their new look. I have not used IMDb for over three weeks and you know what? I don't miss it one bit. As a user for over 25 years (and a member and contributor for over 20 years), I thought there would be some kind of "withdrawal" by not using the site. But there wasn't. I'm willing to bet many other previous users (not "customers") discovered the same thing. Sure, it's harder to get the information that I need, but it's not impossible, as there are plenty of other film sites out there that offer the same thing IMDb does. Sometimes standing by your principles leads up to discovering some very interesting things. I can "survive" without using IMDb and so could many other people. I believe that's why the Alexa rating has dropped and will probably never recover.

Why are you still here then? Constantly moaning about everything. Prove it and cancel your accounts. Or can't you really stay away.

Hey, Trojan: Put one over your head and keep quiet. This is America and as far as I know, it's still a place where you can speak your mind (at least for now; it might change shortly thanks to people like you). Want to know why i constantly moan about things? Because I can! The only reason I don't cancel my IMDb account is because one day I hope they realize the mistake they made and revert back to their old ways. Until then, cram it! And I mean that in the most loving way. I must have hit a nerve in you, since it is your first post. Which means you are a lurker. And to answer your question: Get Satisfaction notifies me by email whenever a new reply is posted. I only reply to the ones that are important to me. That is, except for yours, which is troll behavior.

Go away, troll. This is your hobby. It's also the last time I will reply to you, because you get off on this type of behavior. I do not want to be an enabler.

My regards to the Netherlands! I did not mean to imply that America is the only place to speak your mind. Everyone everywhere should without a troll attacking you for doing so.

I hate the new look and the big photos and everything else about it, theres only two reasons this new look was created and it comes down to money or someone needs to justify their job. Its not a user friendly experience at all, why companies change things when it isnt necessary is beyond me. I took one look at the sight when it was changed and have checked in occasionally to see if they had the sense to change it back and they haven't so I leave straight away. Its a shame that they meddled with it without checking with the viewers first. Theres a new website getting underway to compete with this one it will take them a while but like all things in this world, a company can be at the top one minute and fall the next. Amazons arrogance to their viewers will prove this to be correct. I have only written two posts on IMDB and this is the second one,I dont even use this site anymore and rarely visit it whereas before I would visit it several times a day, I will definitely go to the new one when its operational, until then I just go to a few others or miss out but its better looking through this one.
