INTRODUCING: New navigation on the IMDb website!
We're excited to announce that on November 22, 2019, IMDb launched a new navigation experience across the mobile and desktop website. These changes provide an improved navigation experience to help you find something new to watch every day.
Select "Menu" to find the parts of the site you know and love, like top-rated movies, celebrity news, and IMDb Originals. There is also easy access to IMDb TV (where available), your Watchlist, your Activity page and account settings.

I don't like the changes, there may be more, but right off the bat:
I like keyboard shortcuts, when I search and the possible selections come up I like to arrow down with my pinky, to the one I want and then press Enter; but, sadly this opens a new page, do I need to say a, "Worthless" new page, 'cause it is. I have to left click on the selection to just go to that selection in the same page. Then when I click on the preview it opens a new page, why? Then I have to go back. I like the old way where the preview opens in the same page and when done viewing, I just click the, "X" to close the preview and I'm ready for whatever I want next... lotta work for no reason.
Surprisingly IMDB, an Amazon company does a poor job of covering Prime (or other Amazon) video. I'll look forward to when you bring that up to speed with the Netflix style.
You might be thinking everybody will get used to all these changes, cause there's a lot of negative responsee, and hey, IMDB is IMDB after all, but...
Mike

Among the things that disappeared from the new home page are the box office numbers and the news segment. Now if you want these segments and you start on the home page you need to navigate to them specifically to view them. These informational segments have been replaced by the likes of FAN FAVORITES because we all know that FAN FAVORITES is an essential part of any movie database.

please consider the following feedback:
1) On mobile devices (e.g. iPad) you have to go to the bottom to hit the search icon and then you have to go to the top of the screen to actually type something into the search field. Regarding UX this is quite annoying....
2) On the new desktop design I'm missing the News segment with an overview of movie & celeb news. Is it just me that I don't see it? If it's gone, is there any way to bring it back?
Thank you!

There are many other reasons I dislike this new design, but I'll stop here.

To see what's "In theaters" now I have to scroll past: news I frankly never cared about, "what to watch" suggestions clearly tailored for someone else, "fan favourite" showing the six movies everyone knows about already, video news I also never watch, "What's streaming" (which could be vaguely useful if it wasn't heavily biased towards amazon).
The "coming soon" section is in an even worse spot. While on mobile is just below "in theaters" (so still past all that junk sections), on desktop it's been replaced by trailers. Which don't seem to list all that's actually coming soon.
All in all, the time I'll spend on the homepage will be surely reduced.
And since the size of every section of the homepage has been increased, there'll be almost zero chances that I may accidentally see an interesting news or video while I look for the showtimes, as there can only be one section on the screen at any time.
