Introducing IMDb Discussions (Beta) — Join the conversation!
We're excited to announce the Beta launch of IMDb Discussions; a new way to connect with fellow fans right here on IMDb. IMDb Discussions let you connect with other fans on select IMDb Interest pages. Share your thoughts, react to posts, and join conversations about the movies, TV shows, franchises, and topics you love.
Who can access it?
IMDb Discussions is currently available to users in the US and Canada as part of a limited Beta. You'll need to be signed in to an IMDb account to read and participate. Don't have an account? You can create one at imdb.com/registration/signin.
If you're already an Amazon customer, you can sign in with your Amazon account. If available in your location, Amazon customers will be automatically signed into IMDb.com with your existing Amazon account. For more information see our guide.
Where to find it
Discussions are available on select Interest pages. Look for the Discussions tab on the page.
The feature is live today on these six Interests:

What can you do in Discussions?
- Start a topic — Go to the Discussions tab on any supported Interest page, select "Start a topic", type and submit your post.
- Reply — Select Reply beneath any post to join the conversation. Your reply appears nested under the original.
- React — Tap the reaction icon on any post to share how you feel.
- Mention titles and names — Type @ and start typing to mention an IMDb Title or Name page directly in your post.
- Flag spoilers — Use the Spoiler warning toggle when posting plot-sensitive content, so other fans can choose whether to reveal it.
Community Guidelines
To keep IMDb Discussions a fun and welcoming space for everyone, all participants are expected to follow our Community Guidelines:
- Be respectful. Treat others with kindness and respect. Personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory language (about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic) aren’t welcome here.
- Stay on topic. Keep discussions relevant to the topic being discussed. Avoid derailing conversations with unrelated topics.
- Use spoiler tags. When discussing major plot points like character deaths or endings, use spoiler tags to protect the entertainment experience of others. That way, you and other fans can engage in discussions spoiler-free!
- Protect privacy. Don't share personal or identifying information (phone numbers, emails, or physical addresses) - yours or anyone else's.
- No links or spam. Don't post external (non-IMDb) URLs, promotional content, advertisements, or spam of any kind.
- No impersonation. Don't impersonate any person or entity (e.g. including "IMDb" in usernames or profile images).
- Write in English. Posts in IMDb Discussions should be in English only. Posts in unsupported languages will not be posted.
Posts that violate our community guidelines will be removed, and repeat violations may result in suspension of your ability to participate in IMDb Discussions.
What does "Beta" mean?
Beta means this feature is still in active development and available to a limited group of users before a wider release. You may encounter bugs, or notice things changing over time, that's part of the process. Your feedback directly shapes where we take this feature, so please share your thoughts in the comments below.
The Beta does not have a fixed end date. We'll move to a full release when we're confident the feature is working well and delivering a great experience. When we do, everything you posted during Beta (your posts, replies, and reactions) will carry over automatically.

Since you did write:

1.
After commenting on 2 threads, I was anticipating a dedicated private space on "my page" where I would have a list of the discussions I have participated in, and a list of my comments.
This so I can easily go back and find the discussions I am in to continue the disscution, see what others have answered etc,
and to easily delete my answers if needed later.
(As anyone knows, especially women, there are also "not nice people" on the internet, even in this forum here I have experienced being attacked, and sometimes you unfortunately need to go in and delete things later to protect yourself, but how do I track back all my comments?)
2. Where is the option to block users if you have bad experiences with them?
3. The "Bold" text hardly looks any different than regular text.
4. I first added just a movie link, when I later went back inn to edit and place som manually written text before the @ that was impossible, everything turned blue and "linked", I ended up having to write my text after, mention with @ again, and delete the text and @ before to get rid of the the all the text in "blue".
