imdb random movie suggestion

Unless mistaken, this feature existed before IMDb registered all series episodes. But even by leaving the individual series episodes aside, we are now talking of very roughly 1 million titles to chose from. I am not sure the random pickup is likely to be found relevant or helpful: e.g. loads of Indian or Japanese movies from the 1930's to 1950's, let alone probably 90% of the titles are not available for showing.

But anyway, why not?

random imdb was amazing. found great movies using this that i wouldn't have found. don't know why they got rid of it. it wasn't completely random like mentioned above but if you kept searching you found gems. i don't like using keywords for searches. don't want to segregate movies. i want to search the entire list. that's how you find movies or actors/actresses you wouldn't normally come across.
