Thanks for that which will suffice in terms of alternative, and I'll have to assume that by this topic being tagged as "answered" that there is no formal (and editable) substitute.
I would assume the "answered" tag is a result of anyone having replied. Which would be silly, of course (a reply might be a second question, or a bad reply), but I have low expectations for GS.
Sure, although I think I might prefer if somebody else who happens to like the idea of an IMDb Glossary being available to create such a GS topic. The good ideas cannot all come from me :P
We desperately need an IMDb glossary! There are too many honest, hard-working contributors who just don't know or are confused about the meanings of various show business terms!
As an alternative, perhaps IMDb would consent to someone publishing a copy of the old glossary on another site, perhaps as a wiki which could be updated.
Which is a pity. I would like to know how they feel about it. And it might, in some cases, give us a bit of an idea where it is on the roadmap (if it's on the roadmap that is, of course).

(I know that wasn't your question, but you might have been looking for something specific.)
