I am a Canadian TV producer/hostess in Fort Wayne, IN... would love to know if we could interview fellow Canadian Donald Sutherland?

I am a part of IMDb.. would love to know if we could do any interviews with fellow members here?

Hello @pattymaggieanne,

If you would like to have an interview with Donald Sutherland or any other IMDb member, we recommend you contact him or his representatives. Please note that all contact information we have on a given individual is available online under the 'Contact' section, on their IMDb Pro page (Membership is required). See, for example:

  https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0350453/

If you are looking for contact information for a company, the data will be listed under the 'Branch Offices' section on the page. See, for example:

  https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0021272/
  https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0011263/

If the Agent/Contact page has no data, it means we don't have any contact info for that person or company yet.

You can also browse our People Directory at

  http://pro.imdb.com/representation/

This page features a directory of all people in the database who we have representation/contact information, categorized by profession and sorted by STARmeter rank.

Just to note, most "members" of IMDb are merely fans/critics/connoisseurs of movies, shows, video games, music videos, or of the celebrities or people participating in/around the productions of these things, usually not the artists themselves. Of course, in order for actors, directors, editors, storytellers, cinematographers, technicians, puppeteers, set designers, costume designers, stunt performers, script supervisors et al. to assist with or commandeer aspects of the respective IMDb name pages about them (or the IMDb title pages about their works), they join IMDb and subsequently probably IMDbPro as well to provide contact information (as mentioned earlier by IMDb employee Jon). The ways of contact are always through third party means, like telephone, email or SMS/MMS (maybe apart from IMDb's casting breakdowns interface). Even back when, IMDb had a private messaging system, there was a kind of subtle isolation between the IMDb side and the IMDbPro side. Hyperlinks to private Facebook/Instagram accounts or the like do appear on some name pages, so that may present another mechanism of establishing contact. Anyway, just because an name page exist doesn't mean that the person it pertains to is a member of IMDb. We actually have a lot of name pages that are about people who died long before IMDb even existed.
