How to configure my preferred streaming providers ?

Hello,

I am a bit desperate because I get newsletters and tipps for new shows and movies

for ALL streaming providers that IMDB includes/knows.

So as I mainly only use Prime and Joyn, I do not want this mass of information to handle,

as I absolutely have no use for it, and have to mentianally filter it out. This is a big pain.

So is there a way to say IMDB what services I have/use at tge moment ?

I have searched a lot in the last month, also a paon :) , here, on IMDB itself and with Google, but no gain.

I  use IMDB with the browser on PC.

thanks for any answer

@Schmitzi On the website you can view Prime Video releases / recommendations via the What to Watch page at https://www.imdb.com/what-to-watch/ which you can access via the IMDb home page. The June guide for Prime Video is available at https://www.imdb.com/list/ls547527693/

At the present time only the IMDb mobile apps support the concept of a preferred streaming service, sorry.

Hope this helps.

Hello @Col_Needham

thank you for your app-reciated answer  :0)

I have installed the (iOS)-App from IMDB and I found something like this:

I press "Search" at the bottom, and wipe there to "Streaming", now I can wipe through the streaming providers and select ony by one there. This will help a lot.

But maybe ther is more that I do not see ? This Search function will only show me one provider at a time, what means that there is no "Summary of my possibilities, or Newa, or whatever" at one point, and at other points (of view), so that I have to wipe and wipe...

My suggestion is, is there a config menu where I can basically setup my preferred streaming providers) for app and browsers? If not, where can I make a request ? :) This should be able to be used "gloabally" means for all views in app and browser, so that one maybe can filter all views, ads, searches by the streaming providers automatically and in general... something like this. Filtering like "I only can see what is in the range of my available streaming providers"

But happy for the moment now

thx
