I created this topic because I am having a problem.
My IMDB email is old and I don't have access to it.
The problem is that I know my email and password but whenever I try to log into my IMDB account I get a message saying that I have to approve an email that IMDB sends to my email account to validate my login.
My problem is that I can't enter my IMDB email and I'm only logged into the IMDB app and wanted to change it there.
I do not understand why IMDB asks to validate the login, if I know the password and email.

Please note you'll need to be logged into your IMDb account, via desktop computer or mobile web browser, to update your email.
To update your email, please visit the Change your email address page in the Account Settings.
We'll send a One Time Password (OTP) verification email to your new email address. When you receive the email, input the OTP code to verify your new email address. Upon continuing, confirm your account password and complete the update process.
